> What moves you?

As I was reading this morning I came across a story about a guy called Nehemiah. His brother Hanani had just returned from Judah, the country of their origin, and Nehemiah asked him about how things were going back in Judah. Hanani told him about how bad things were back in Judah and how their capital city had been decimated. (I feel this having come from Christchurch which was decimated by an earthquake a few years ago.)

This is what Nehemiah wrote concerning his response. "As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days."

This made me consider this question: 'What moves me?'

The story of Nehemiah (found in the Old Testament of the Bible) continues to explain how Nehemiah returned to Judah and helped restore it, all because of the passion he felt.

It is my belief that one of the key components for making a difference in your life is to have something that you are passionate about, something that moves you.
